The Shabbaton begins Feb. 3, 5:30, with Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma'ariv led by Chazzan Smith, followed by Shabbat Dinner at the Temple; there is a fee only for the Dinner. After Dinner, and open to those not attending the Dinner, the Cantor will speak on Chazzanut, - a Uniquely Jewish Art. 

Shabbat morning, Chazzan Smith will daven Shacharit and Musaf and will speak on Nussach Hat'fillah (Eastern European - Our Aural Tradition: Passing it on L'Dor V'Dor; services begin at 8:45 AM.    After Kiddush, the Cantor will speak about one of the most revered cantors of the Golden Age of Cantors:  Yoselle Rosenblatt, the Cantor who is synonymous with Chazzanut.
