This class is designed to expand and refine the skill and knowledge of those who have an understanding of elementary Contract Bridge.  All areas of the game will be explored, with an emphasis on the play of the hand, defense, bidding, basic conventions and preemptive bidding.     Some time will be spent each week playing and discussing hands which have been prepared in advance to illustrate the concepts which are covered.  Those who are advanced beginners will learn new things, and a valuable review will be provided for those who already play at the basic level.
